Chester Racecourse is an exciting and thrilling day out, with a dynamic range of things to do. The site combines the best of the countryside with the convenience of the city centre, giving you flexibility and a choice of spaces for your celebration, or corporate event.
Chester Racecourse boasts 35 separate facilities, accommodating anything from two to 2,000 people. Whatever the occasion, the team bring their unique recipe of creative catering, expert organisation, and service. Their talented team of chefs produce delicious breakfast menus, lunches, themed canapés and bespoke bowl food, as well as decadent dinners to create a truly special day out.
The racing calendar takes place between May and September. Seasonal highlights include the prestigious three-day Boodles May Festival at the beginning of a race season, Signature Living City Plate Day in July (the busiest fixture of the year) and the Golden Square Shopping Centre Season Finale in September. MBNA Roman Day on Saturday 26 May and MBNA Family Funday, our only Sunday fixture on 5 August are our favourite days geared towards children and families.
